485 copy, 2 photographs, a sheet with reason for applying AP (i.e. answer to question nbr 10 or 7, don't remember)

You can use your h1b to work after returning to US on AP.
I believe that H1 is valid as long as you are with the same employer but once you switch employers thats a no deal.

getting rejected in EB2 does not impact your case for EB3 (they might look up that older file and see that it was rejected because of education qualification for EB2, but does qualify for EB3).
You will probably get an RFE at I-140 time. Or they might ask you to accept this in EB3, in which case you dont lose your LC and the PD that goes with it.

After few years (once he got 5 year exp), apply new LC and 140 with EB2 and transfer the PD. That will be the wise decision. yeah I like the updated splash... and about my page... I know it is huge it is in NO way permenent... just something I am toying with, I'll end up only using elements of different pictures on that page for my splash.. plus I didnt compress the images at all - like I said VERY temporary. I'll let you all know when I update my splash along with my new site

Who ever is dependent, they have to be in the relationship with the Primary until the GC is approved. If the relationship gets broken before the GC approval, the dependent's GC will be denied. But again, if the USCIS is not aware of the divorce and no RFE's then even the dependent also gets approved. But one should always inform USCIS about their change in Status, it may be an Address Change, Employer Change, Marital Status change.
The Primary's GC application will not be affected with the Divorce.
Thanks for the valuable information. But we all know the I-485 process take long period of time. Mean time if I marry again, do I have to wait for the priority date to be current in order to Apply I-485 for my new wife?

When you mark your calendar, mark it for 182 days to be safe. You never know USCIS and these employers.. Keep yourself safe from all the complications that might arise if you leave on 180th or 181st day (whether first day is included or not, can I leave on 180th day or do i have to wait for 180 days to complete blah blah.. ) :)

Looks like this is only for renewals
A colleague of mine (not India or China) got her EAD card in mail within a month of applying. Her 485 has been pending for more than a year.
Another friend of mine from India got his approved within 60 days of applying.
Doesn't all these mean that the interim EAD (or whatever you want to call it) is still possible and we can get it?
I am confused.

Good job! However, like I and some other people on this forum have mentioned before, there is the need to de-emphasize our course as an Indian course. We know the majority of people in the GC process are of Indian or Chinese origin but we should recognize we need an all-inclusive approach to this struggle.
I clicked on the link and the headline read "Indian immigrants in US raise voices" While I understand that this might have come from the reporters who put togther the news, it is important that the members of IV at the forefront of this campaign and indeed all members on this forum, portray our course as as a high-skilled immigrant course and NOT an Indian or Chinese course.
Just something to think about!

One thing to remember is that reporters take snippets from hours of interviews, and then their editors edit the article down further.
